Miss You My Deer

Here's a card step card for Papersmooches Sparks  Anything Goes:  I used Papersmooches  Happy Camper for the campfire, tent, signs, and bear and deer, the squirrel in the trees was from the free files...I used the cut files from Kadoodlebug Happy Campers for the boy and girl, apple tree from "what big eyes you have", the other tree and grass from "Wilderness Trail"  For the bear and deer I did a masking to have them together then fussy cut and used foam dots to attach to give more dimension.  I colored everything with Spectrum Noir pens, the background scene and used Glossy accents on the noses of the bear and deer, eyes, and apples.

Non-traditional Color Christmas Card

I'm doing this for Stamping Royalty challenge 255  and for Treasured Times Shapely Saturday.
I used Treasure times Little Girl Big Hat by Jehanne Silva Freimane http://www.treasuredtimesrubberstamps.com/#!product/prd1/2039429435/little-girl-big-hat-clear-stamp, I also used Unity SNOW PLACE like home (#IB-610) I used a Silhouette Cut file I made for the card, the stamps were colored with Spectrum Noir.  I cut the paper so that it would continue from the top of the easel to the inside so that when it was open you could see the swirls continue throughout.

Mixed Media Candle

Hope I did this right, I decided to try something new, so, here is my mixed media candle.  I am entering this in several contests. I looked at them all and tried to decide how I could incorporated all the elements into one project.  For the Papercrafter's Corner I went with the colors, red, a little green, black writing, silver and gray for the hair color Dumbo and the light gives a golden hue shown in a few areas.  For the Unity November challenge it was similar colors.  And for the Mixed Media it was using stamps (Unity stamps were being featured) I did use a Heidi Swap stamp set of words  and left them on the acetate and stamped the whole set vellum and used black embossing powder and heat set it, however, the spotlight was on the Unity Stamp "Everything Christmas" which I stamped on vellum using silver ink I recently acquired and after it dried I  fussy cut it out, backed the frame portion with white paper so once it was wrapped around the words everywhere except the sentiment would.  My friend gave me the wire petals  a while ago and so I took 3 of them and tied them together to make the wreath and decorated it with Maya Road ribbon I won earlier this year and other various ones I had on hand and roses that I had tucked away for sometime that another friend gave me.   Hope you like it..

my homemade stencil----Home for the holidays

So I made my own design for the house and trees in Silhouette for this --the stars were done on a second stencil  (learned that the house and trees probably should have been separate also, but not bad for the first time.  I used the Craftwell ebrush for the sky and the base for the house and trees.  I then put the homemade embossing paste for snow on trees,, ground., and stars using the star stencil I made and colored them with watercolor paint, I highlighted the trees with it also to make them shimmer.  I used my spectrum noir pens to highlight the house also and then stamped my sentiment and added the embellishments.
This was designed for the Simon Says challenges:

my messy countertop

I
I work on my kitchen counter, I'm working on Christmas cards now, I have bins and baskets etc that have what I need and bring them out as I need...

Layout, picture from Honeymoon in Ireleand...

Here's a Layout that fits a few entries, first, it was truly inspired by Week 76’s Papercrafting Inspiration: I don't usually do layouts, don't really have place to save them, but this was special.  Here's a picture of Joe and I in Ireland at a B&B we really loved.  When I saw the picture of travel, I immediately thought of our honeymoon...  A neighbor's daughter gave me all of her stickers when her mom passed and I knew there were ton's of travel ones.  The sentiments and papers were DCWV's Linen Closet and Timeless Stacks.  The flowers were from Petaloo "flora Doodles" Value pack. I also noticed the tags on the luggage, BINGO, I could also enter it in Crafting Desert Diva and Pause, Dream, Enjoy...

Treasured times stamps, Shapely Saturday contest

I used Treasured Times Stamps: Thomas Love On The Road by Erica Nicomedi. and
Floral Fence By Tracey Malnofski.  I colored it with Spectrum Noir Pencils and Sharpie metallic pen...
The paper was Doodlebug and generic construction paper.  These were the digi stamps, so much fun to color!
